A native of Evansville, Kim Armstrong began her role at ECHO Housing and Community Development in November of 2023 as the Marketing and Communications Manager. She has worked in and around homeless services for over 11 years in Evansville, Atlanta, GA, and Biloxi, MS though her roles as the Director of Youth and Outreach at St. Paul’s UCC and as the Resource Development Officer at Aurora. These experiences have fostered a true passion for advocating for the most vulnerable in our community.
Kim is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, where she earned a BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She and her husband, Don, live on the North side of Evansville and have 4 grown children and 4 spoiled granddogs. They enjoy listening to live music, being outdoors, and playing with their two rescue dogs – Zeus, a 90 lb Goldendoodle and Albus Dumbledog, a 16 lb poodle mix.
