The Patriot Gala is a powerful and heartfelt tribute to the everyday heroes who serve our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. This annual event recognizes and honors Veterans, first responders, and community advocates who work tirelessly to uplift and protect those most vulnerable. ECHO is proud to provide permanent housing and employment opportunities to Veterans across 11 counties in Southwest Indiana, helping those who once served our country build a stable and dignified future.
As a founding member of the River City Veteran Resource Group and the lead agency managing the Veteran By Name List, ECHO plays a central role in the regional effort to effectively end Veteran homelessness. Our work is further strengthened through a long-standing partnership with first responders—law enforcement, emergency personnel, and crisis response teams—who co-respond to mental health crises and assist individuals in critical moments of need.
Proceeds from the Patriot Gala directly support ECHO’s homeless service programs, crisis co-response efforts, and broader community development initiatives aimed at improving quality of life and increasing access to opportunity for all. This event is not just a celebration—it is a commitment to community.

Keynote Speaker: Mayor Stephanie Terry – Be inspired by the words of our esteemed Mayor, who will share insights on the impact of Veterans and First Responders in our community.
Silent Auction -the more you win at the tables, the more power you have to take home amazing auction items—all while supporting Veterans, First Responders, and individuals overcoming homelessness.

We invite you to nominate a deserving individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to service, resilience, and patriotism. At this year’s gala, four exceptional individuals will be recognized in the following award categories: Valor, Unity, Honor, and Patriot.
Each nominee should exemplify the core values of courage, integrity, loyalty, and service to others. Whether they have shown extraordinary bravery, fostered unity within the community, or dedicated a lifetime to serving others, your nomination will help shine a light on their contributions.
