Permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless families
Lucas Place provides permanent supportive housing (PSH) for formerly homeless families with minor children. With apartments of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, Lucas Place can serve nearly any family size in our historic building located in the Jacobsville Neighborhood of Evansville. All our apartments were fully renovated in 2015 and can provide on-site laundry, storage units for tenants, a security system to keep our families safe, as well as an Enrichment Center for tutoring. When at maximum capacity, Lucas Place is home to over 50 children under the age of 18. Lucas Place consistently performs above the state-mandated benchmarks for PSH programs.
