All Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) residents must go through the following process to obtain PSH Housing:
- You must be Category 1 homeless, meaning you are sleeping outside, in a shelter, or in a place not meant for people to live, like a car or an abandoned building.
- If you are Category 1 homeless you must have a CURRENT Coordinated Entry Assessment completed to be placed on the Coordinated Entry List. **The Coordinated Entry Assessment scores your vulnerability level. People with higher vulnerability scores move to the top of the list for available housing.
- To be verified category 1 homeless and to get an assessment completed, your first contact is Aurora:
Phone: 812-428-3246
Address: 1001 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710
**If you have been assessed in the last 90 days, you will be contacted when
- your name moves to the top of the vulnerability list; and
- available housing opens up.
**If you were assessed more than 3 months ago, you must be assessed again.
