When I was employed at Echo Housing as a Scattered Sites Case Manager, the employees worked as a team to meet the needs of clients in all programs. ECHO Housing and Community Development embraces and prioritizes a positive work environment.

Working in homeless services, our case managers encounter a unique set of challenges that require compassion, resilience, and dedication. Our leadership understands first hand that while our work can be incredibly rewarding, it can also come with burnout and the potential for vicarious trauma. Therefore, we feel it is of utmost importance to foster a transparent and positive work culture among our staff.

Some of the positive work culture initiatives at ECHO Housing include training sessions led by staff at all levels, an employee relations committee, leadership development, and team building activities.
