We’re proud to partner with the JD Sheth Foundation on Meena’s Place, a transformative project supporting women in our community. 💛
Meena’s Place will provide safe, supportive transitional housing for women and children-offering stability, healing, and the opportunity to grow for up to two years. This project fills a critical gap in our community’s housing continuum and represents Evansville’s first homelessness-to-homeownership model designed specifically for women.
We are grateful to the JD Sheth Foundation and everyone who believes in creating pathways to long-term stability and independence.
Together, we’re not just building housing-we’re building hope, opportunity, and a stronger future for our community.

The Evansville Baptist Ministers and Deacons Alliance invites the community to join in its 56th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Memorial Service, featuring keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Tellis Chapman.
This meaningful annual gathering honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while uplifting the next generation through scholarship support and educational opportunity. Attendees will not only reflect on Dr. King’s vision of justice and service, but also help invest directly in local youth and community development.
Through initiatives such as scholarships and after-school program support, the Alliance and its supporters continue a long-standing commitment to giving back. Community members, families, faith leaders, and advocates are encouraged to attend, reflect, and stand together in support of education, empowerment, and Dr. King’s legacy.

This holiday season, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and compassion of those who chose to stand with our residents.
Because of your support, we were able to celebrate the season alongside individuals who may not have family or support to share it with - offering connection, care, and a reminder that they are not alone.
